CPNP Nutrition Symposium October 26-27, 2018

Plan on attending this year's CPNP Nutrition Symposium October 26-27, 2018 in Hollywood, Florida! Your registration will allow you to attend any of the non-ticketed sessions for the CPNP, NASPGHAN and APGNN Meetings. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Thursday, October 25 Come a day early to attend this year’s NASPGHAN Post-Graduate Courses, state of the art presentations include: gastrointestinal problems in autism spectrum disorders, weight management: surgery, and nutritional management of pediatric pancreatitis.

Friday, October 26 NASPGHAN Annual Meeting’s Nutrition focused topics include: Developing microbiome and infant nutrition, Restrictive diets: can’t eat, won’t eat, Dispelling myths in nutrition, The APGNN annual meeting nutrition content includes a feeding disorders session on Friday afternoon.

Saturday, October 27th: CPNP Nutrition Symposium Program Highlights,

IBD Nutrition Session: specific carbohydrate diet, microbiome and micronutrient nutrition assessment.

Food Allergy Session: Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Food-Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome and Nutritional management in children with multiple food allergies.

Malnutrition Session: highlights and limitations of the malnutrition consensus guidelines and tools for identifying malnutrition.

Celiac Disease Session -current guidelines for medical management, adherence and psychological issues with celiac disease and treating the non-responsive celiac pt.

The breakout sessions will include sessions on osteopenia of prematurity, the Leap study – what are we recommending and a resource sharing session (Blenderized diets) and is an opportunity for RDs to share current education materials and recipes.
